Starting at RMB 92,800, the SAIC MAXUS interstellar pickup truck lineup is launched with a total of six models to choose from
These include the Interstellar R, Interstellar L, and Interstellar H ordinary fuel-powered pickup trucks, and the Interstellar EV is an all-electric pickup truck. There are, of course, interstellar bull-demons with stronger off-road capabilities and RVs like the Explorer.
Interstellar H's guide price range is 136,800 to 266,800 yuan. It is divided into diesel single compressor, diesel double compressor and gasoline version. There are 19 configuration models to choose from. From this point of view, it is seen that SAIC MAXUS evaluates the market segment very well and allows users to choose more different configuration models according to their needs.
On the front, the Interstellar H uses a large darkened grille area, the interior is filled with dot matrix panels and the distinctive "MAXUS" logo is added to the large plate above. The light groups on both sides adopt the split headlight design. The daily headlights on the top are more like the "squinting eyes" shape.
Seen from the side, the Interstellar H's body lines are not very complex. The protruding lines above the front and rear wheel eyebrows and the straight waistline on the side skirts of the body perfectly outline the Interstellar muscles.
It is also equipped with 18 inch wheels front and rear, and its flat rate of 255/60 also makes it comfortable and has stronger off-road performance. Wide wheel brows at the top and wide pedals at the bottom further emphasize the "hard" style of the StarCraft H.
In terms of body size, the Interstellar H is divided into two versions: standard axle and long axle.
At the rear of the vehicle, Interstellar H uses three colors for matching, black, white and red. The large darkened plaque area in the middle still has the "MAXUS" logo and is also surrounded by red stripes. . The light clusters on both sides are arranged vertically, and the wide rear bumper at the bottom is a must.
The Interstellar H's tailgate opens manually, but thankfully it's equipped with a hydraulic lever, so it doesn't take much effort to open and close the tailgate.
In addition, the Interstellar H is equipped with a roll cage on the rear shell, and its body is made of up to 70% high-strength steel, further enhancing the safety of the driver and passengers.
Getting into the car, the interior of the Interstellar H is not as tough as the outside, but a bit more advanced. The central control area is a dual screen consisting of the instrument panel and the central control screen, and the whole system is equipped with practical functions such as 360-degree panoramic views and cruise control as standard.
Below the central control screen is the climate control area, which consists of the air outlet of the air conditioner and touch buttons. Since Interstellar H adopts the electronic gear design, there is no extra physical space in the center console area other than the button. There's room for a cell phone on the right, armrests on both sides and a certain amount of storage under the center console.
In addition, the armrest box of Interstellar H is divided into two areas, front and rear, and there is a movable hanger cup holder in the front area.
In terms of power, the Interstellar H is divided into three versions. Among them, the maximum power of the diesel single-compressor version is 120 kW and the peak torque is 410 Nm. The diesel twin-compressor version has a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 500 Nm. The 2.0T petrol version has a maximum power of 192 kilowatts and a peak torque of 410 Nm.
The diesel version is available in a configuration model that matches the 6MT gearbox, and the other models are equipped with the ZF 8AT gearbox.
