Here the National NC-300 80 meter coil is explored. The unwrap processes of removing the secondary which was 3 turns is started.
Then the "bed" insulation for the secondary 3 turns is scratched off.
Then the secondary is unwrapped - and all the turns unwrapped are duly coiunted.
Think thee were 36 turns counted unwrapping.
For exactness measure the old wire lengths and cut the new wire to match
and simply wrap on accuratly.
Ah you do need to make the center tap on the secondary and I think that was abot 14 turns in. The secondary can just be a loop of wire left above the surface. Make sure the secondary is on the BOTTOM of the original coil form facing the wire end HOOKS which are also hooking toward the bottom of the coil form.
The term botton mf a round cylinder is arbitrary and by convention.
