Montreal is a place that is super easy to travel around using public transit.
And I’m all for it because it’s better for the planet
By 2025 all buses purchased by the Montreal transit corporation will be electric and by 2040 all buses will be emission free.
We even have something called BIXI a bike and ebike sharing network. It’s very common to see people biking all around Montreal because we have 846 km of bike lanes and paths.
Right now the city is developing something called a REM a 100% electric light metro. It will be able to transport 600 people at each departure and can travel from Trudeau airport to downtown MTL in 20 minutes.
I’m excited to ride it
