From Steve Perry - "This is basically a size queen double entendre throughout an entire song. The Daddies have a long history of bump and grind style tunes ('Here Comes The Snake', 'Shake Your Lovemaker', 'Pink Elephant') that are kind of our homage to the era of 50’s and 60’s burlesque. 'Kingsized' is a continuation of that pop cultural fetish. One theme I come back to again and again is the repressed sexuality of America. I find it funny that this country was colonized by erotically stunted Pilgrims and yet their quashed sexuality inevitably squishes out the sides of that repression into phallic skyscrapers and the like."
