If you remember ravioli as being little pillows of not-exactly meat wrapped in not-exactly pasta and all smothered in a smooth tomatoey goo, I'm going to show you how to improve on that. I wanted to remind myself of what canned ravioli was like, so the first part of the video is a tasting of Tesco Meat Ravioli. I wanted to do this with Heinz Meat Ravioli but that wasn't available.
After trying canned ravioli, I went on to make my own using the foldover technique and then a different method for making ravioli. I show you how to make your own pasta and homemade tomato sauce.
