Narcissists and psychopaths are two different personality disorders that are often confused with one another.
Narcissists are characterized by a grandiose sense of self-importance, an obsessiveness with themselves and their own abilities, an extreme lack of empathy, and an overall sense of entitlement and superiority. Narcissists manipulate others to get what they want or feel they deserve, and can act out in aggressive or violent ways.
Psychopaths are characterized by a complete lack of conscience or empathy, an inability to feel remorse or guilt, a callous disregard for the rights of others, and a tendency to act out in impulsive, often violent ways. Psychopaths are often unable to form meaningful relationships and may resort to criminal behavior to fulfill their needs.
Overall, are there any substantial differences between the two? Find out in the video.
