time to bung the head on. but the gaskets not marked top or front so a bit of savvy is needed before its squashed under the head.
theres plenty of videos on youtube where people have fitted gaskets upside down or back to front!
UPDATE: 1 year later.....that gasket was a POS. after a short while i started drinking coolant again. i thought it had to be a cracked head and was in no mood to buy a new one so we struggled on until the water consumption was too great. i took the head off to find the gasket failing between 3 and 4. 1 and 2 were not far behind.
ive fitted a multi layer steel gasket and we are good again.
