In this video, I’ll answer the question – what are rogue waves?  You may not have heard of the term - rogue waves - before, but possibly you’re already familiar with its more popular name – Killer Waves. Scientists refer to them as Extreme Storm Waves on the sea. While these terrifying phenomena have been included in marine folklore for several centuries, scientists have only recently begun to understand and accept rogue waves as real. They’re waves that are incredibly massive. Those who have personally experienced Rogue Waves claim that they appear to be walls of water, due to their steep sides and extremely deep troughs.
