This is not the first time the enemy has used phosphorus bombs in Eastern Ukraine. This time it is evidenced by a telephone conversation between the invaders intercepted by the SSU.
‘They are burning them with phosphorus. Phosphorus flew from our side to khokhol [derogatory russian term for Ukrainians] side,’ an occupier tells his mother.
And immediately he admits that they were ordered to shoot all the cars, including civilians.
‘The car will become a colander,’ he rejoices. In response, the mother sighs. For her, murder of civilians is justified simply – ‘they just were not meant [to survive]’.
We remind that use of phosphorus bombs is a crime against humanity and a violation of Geneva Convention, while killing civilians is against the laws and customs of war.
All interceptions and data collected by the SSU will be included in the material for international courts so that no russian crime goes unpunished.
Between June 4 and 10, 2022, alone, SSU investigators opened 594 criminal proceedings for crimes related to russia’s open military aggression. The SSU carries on working 24/7.
