Ingredients:
A) Broth:
- 1 Packet dashi stock
- 4 Cups boiling water
- 2 Tbsp light-colored soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sake
- 1/2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp mirin
- Pinch salt
B) Items:
- Daikon Radish
- Dried seaweed
- Egg
- Potatoes
- Fried Tofu
- Japanese Fish Cakes (from Oden Set)
Recipe:
- Add boiling water and all broth ingredients
- Start increasing the heat in the pot until it’s boiling
- Add all ingredients except fish cakes
- Reduce temp to simmer and cook for 30 minutes
- Add fish cakes
- Simmer for another 30 minutes (ideally with lid)
