In the Spanish Civil War, historically, Malaga fell in February 1937. Here we see an unlikely yet possible scenario. Nationalists under Queipo de Llano attacked but were beaten back. Game rules allow for, even if a side is more powerful, for it to have to retreat. This is done with the green dice after combat is resolved. Here we see the Republic defended Malaga and counter-attacked but they became so weak in the process that, on the next round they must reinforce well or risk total annihilation. As it often happened in the war, the loyalists did beat back the rebels only to have to retreat again.
