Let's visit the Forbidden Planet Megastore near Leicester Square in London, and see what kind of geek merchandise we can find!
Forbidden Planet is a famous brand of stores across the UK, Ireland, and the US. The first store opened way back in 1978 as a comic book store, but it quickly expanded to include films and other types of pop culture as well.
In this video I give you my impressions of the London Megastore, and I show you around inside the store. Figurines, collectibles, manga, books, games, and all types of merchandise can be found here.
It's not all rose-tinted glasses, though. I also compare it with the Science Fiction Bookstore in Stockholm, and note that there's a lack of certain types of merchandise at this store. It's an incredibly impressive store...but you can still not find everything that you're looking for. Genshin Impact merch seems quite absent, for example. Have the British not heard of Genshin yet?
All in all, I'm extremely happy that I visited this store, and I had a blast looking at all the amazing things on display. I bought myself a couple of books as well - good job on having a nice selection of books on sale.
