This one was insane to do, so here's the basic idea behind it. I just did the opening dunk sequence over and over and over until the palico worked its magic. It might seem farfetched, but if you go do the same opening strat over and over on any run and watch your palico they generally do the same thing at the same time over and over. The main problem being the palicos weapon doesn't apply status every hit its the same rng proc rate as ours. But as I was practicing the run trialling different things the palico slept it twice at the clagger after the dunk, so I knew it was possible and just went for it.
