Bradycardia can occur normally when the patient is ageing and it can happen in good athletes and patients where the heart rate is very slow and other medical conditions like hypothyroid can have bradycardia or some cardiac condition like myocarditis, pericarditis and other valvular diseases or conduction problems or aortic calcific vessels which has been occluding the conduction system or invading their conduction system can produce bradycardia. Even some medications like beta blockers can produce bradycardia.
