We are often asked: "should I pursue guardianship or a power of attorney?" "Which is better?"
As Tucson elder law attorney Elizabeth Noble Rollings Friman explains, the choice usually isn't between those two options. Instead, the more important question is whether you already have a power of attorney (or can still get one), or whether a guardianship will be necessary.
