Hey Guys, I hope you are all doing well! In today's video, I am going to be showing you a substrate cleaning technique that is really useful, especially when you have a planted tank with carpeting plants. It can be really difficult to clean your carpeting plants as organic waste and detritus can build up within really quickly.

The good thing about cleaning your substrate, especially in an aquarium with an Aquasoil substrate is that it does not disrupt the substrate, which prevents a lot of mess! This technique is really good at removing organic waste and detritus from your carpeting plants. If organic waste builds up in your planted aquarium it can cause algae issues. I hope by the end of this video you will know how to clean your carpeting plants!
