Removing the motor from the ESC and doing an inductance test on the motor. If all three phases test with a very similar reading your pretty sure that there is no short in the windings. Once I do this test I then run the motor up using an aftermarket ESC on a power supply to check on current draw and look for vibrations. Next video I will do a bearing change and perhaps even look to see if I can get a hold of some ceramic ball bearings. However the main aim is to find a way to bench test the ESC. So far I'm snookered on finding a way but maybe I need to smoke a couple to find a way. Any help much appreciated with the ESC testing stage.
