Both the Surface Pro 9 and M2 iPad Pro 2022 are amazing devices. It simply comes down to your line of work. Operating System is going to be the deal breaker. Windows 11 or iPadOS16? I did not cover battery life, but both were great and certainly over 8 hours with normal use.
