Hello there! Hope you guys found this video enjoyable and feel free to argue who should get the top spot, after all both of those boss fights are very hard, and depending on what you consider "hard" you might give it to one of the 2.
But that being said, here's the script:
What is the hardest boss in Metroid Fusion? Okay, let's get the easy out of the way: It's not Arachnus, Elephant Bird, Zazabi, both security BOX encounters, Barrier Core-X, this X core, Nettori, Neo-Ridley, nor the true final boss. Most of them are easy, and the harder ones are either annoying (Netorri) or can be easily cheesed (BOX encounters, Neo-Ridley and the final boss). That leaves us with Serris, Yakuza, Nightmare, and the SA-X. The SA-X might be hard, but at that point, you can get as many items as you want and cheese the boss fight with the screw attack. Serris can also go because, while hard, the upper border trivializes the boss fight. Now it's either Nightmare or Yakuza, and honestly, both could be the winner, but I've decided to give it to Nightmare, because while Yakuza is REALLY hard, once you realize the phase 1 gimmick it's just a matter of patience and waiting in the corner. The rest is still hard, of course, but it's not as bad as the whole Nightmare boss-fight, which can not be trivialized. It might have a few tricks, yeah, but it's as raw as a boss-fight gets, a matter of pattern memorization. And that's why Nightmare is Metroid Fusion's hardest boss! (followed by Yakuza)
