A couple of hours from Bo is the Boma Village. The village is inhabited mainly by the Mende Tribe and is a Community Tourism Hotspot. This quaint village in the South-East of Sierra Leone is famous for having female chiefs. Their belief- whatever men can do, women can do better!

The locals love to put on cultural performances for visitors and music and dance is a big part of their culture.
