STORYLINE:
STARS DONATE TIME AND MONEY AT FASHION FOR RELIEF
The worlds of fashion and fame combined to raise money for a good cause on Wednesday night (17SEPT08), as Naomi Campbell hosted 'Fashion For Relief'.
Held as part of London Fashion Week at the Natural History Museum, the catwalk show and auction saw stars strut their stuff in magnificent creations donated by designers.
Music names Estelle, Ronan Keating, The Sugababes and Cheryl Cole from Girls Aloud made appearances along with modelling regulars Daisy Lowe, Erin O'Connor and Paul Sculfor.
They were wearing sexy outfits given up especially for the show by fashion names like Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Moschino, Givenchy, Versace, Christian Dior, Gucci, John Galliano and Yves Saint Laurent.
While the designer footwear was donated by the likes of Gina, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik.
It's the third time Naomi has organised Fashion for Relief - which this year raised money for the White Ribbon Alliance, a charity which is working to make pregnancy and childbirth safer in developing countries.
So far the total from the event is still being calculated but a spokesperson says they expect the final figure to be in the hundreds and thousands (UK pounds).
And the money-raising hasn't stopped yet, as some of the outfits worn in the show will now be put up for offers on an online auction run by www.fashionexchange.co.uk - with bidding opening on 20th September.
