Following up on the End-of-Line (EOL) operations changes I told you about last week, today (15 July 2024) Giga Texas has changed the production line shifts, now Monday to Thursday from 06:00 AM to 06:00PM (formerly Mon - Sat).

This affects both Model Y & Cybertruck lines & there are several key reasons for these changes as I discuss more in detail in the video clip.

Some of these include reducing costs, efficiently using the current work force, line maintenance, completing the move of EOL to the west side & preparing for future production of products later this year.

I do not currently know the expected timelines as to how long these changes will last or how long the revised production schedule will be maintained before ramping back up to the original Mon to Sat.
