The Battle Belongs to the Lord was always a favorite Christian song of mine. While often played as a softer hymn, I could hear in the lyrics and chords that this song had enormous potential. After many many years of searching for a worthy version, I decided to go another direction and contracted a metal rock musician to produce what I believe is the definitive version of the song, this side of heaven.

And since I was tapping into my childhood already, with 80s hymns and hair metal, the decision to include an often forgotten anime from the memory bank was an easy leap. All visuals are taken from Ronin Warriors (Samurai Troopers).
