Assembled in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Atlas combines hallmark Volkswagen driving dynamics and attention to detail, setting it apart from competitors.
The 2021 Atlas hosts the latest driver assistance technologies offered by Volkswagen. The next-generation Car-Net® telematics system is standard on all models, and in-car Wi-Fi capability is offered across the lineup when you subscribe to a data plan. Additionally, Traffic Jam Assist and Dynamic Road Sign Display are now available.
The VW Atlas is available in eight trim levels for the 2021 model year -S, SE, SE w/ Technology, SE w/ Technology R-Line, SEL, SEL R-Line (sold order only), SEL Premium and SEL Premium R-Line (sold order only). For the first time, the turbocharged four-cylinder engine is available on top trims, and all-wheel drive is available with both the turbocharged four-cylinder and VR6 engines.
The starting MSRP for the refreshed Volkswagen Atlas 2.0-liter is unchanged from 2020 at $31,545 for the S model; 4Motion® models start at $33,445 with that same engine, lowering the entry price of AWD by $1,300 compared to the 2020 Atlas which only offered AWD on V6 models . The powerful VR6 engine is available on the Volkswagen Atlas SE w/ Technology package and above, starting at $38,295. The destination charge for all Atlas models is an additional $1,020.
