Hey everyone! Here’s my cover of the My Hero Academia Season 4 OP “Polaris” by BLUE ENCOUNT! My Hero Academia is one of my all time favourite animes and I’m so happy the fourth season is finally here. Polaris is in the classic My Hero Academia OP style, with lots of cool electric guitar parts and drum rhythms, allowing for lots of different interpretations making it super fun to play.
This arrangement is… difficult. The chorus in particular is both left and right hand heavy, which I challenged myself to do in order to reflect the density of the score in the actual song. Also, the guitar riff (after the intro) which I emulated in the right hand was quite challenging to do precisely; cover artists like Fonzi M, who I was inspired by for this arrangement, make it look so easy!
Polaris is another example of a piece that just “clicks” for both my playing style and compatibility on the piano, and so I’m super proud of how this one turned out! Let me know what you think in the comments below; I hope you enjoy my cover of the My Hero Academia Season 4 OP “Polaris” by BLUE ENCOUNT!
**NEW SETUP**
This is my new temporary setup for when I’m away at university; this upload is super exciting because its the first one I’ve recorded here! I’m still getting used to playing on and recording with a keyboard, but I’m happy I still get to make videos while I’m away from home. Please bare with me as I flip flop between setups (I have some videos pre-recorded hehe).

ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Amanda. My very first instrument was the violin, which I started playing at 4 years old, however, since then, I've picked up piano, clarinet, bass clarinet, and alto & baritone saxophone. I made this channel to keep a record of all my musical creations in hopes that my future self will have a place to look back and reminisce the musical part of my youth. Subscribe to follow along my journey!
ABOUT MY MUSIC
All my covers are 100% original unless stated otherwise; I also learn them all by ear! I've never been the best sight reader, so in comparison to reading sheet music, playing things by ear is much easier and faster for me. All compositions are 100% original.
