I get why Singaporeans wouldn’t mind queueing for Xiang Xiang Hunan even though the food wasn’t mind-blowing. The dishes are reasonably priced. On top of that, they offer perks like free snacks and ice cream. Service is relatively good and the staff is fast and efficient.
The Suan Cai Yu is worth a shot. The other dishes were pretty greasy in general.
And if you are planning to dine there, it only make sense to join their free membership so that you can enjoy member prices for the dishes. It’s about 30% off the original price.
