Another adventure for Mrs. Karnes & Me and today we take you to beautiful Branson, Missouri! "Me" has to go to Branson for a bank meeting and Mrs. Karnes is tagging along. We begin our journey on a sunny summer day. This trip will take us across the state of Missouri.
Our first stop is for lunch and brings us to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. We find such a nice restaurant called Bread+Butter. Most things are homemade and everything we had tasted fantastic! The desserts looked wonderful!

After lunch we headed on to Branson. We traveled through rain, saw Amish buggies, lots of trees, and a couple of rivers. It was a 4+ hour trip so we were glad when we finally arrived.
We are spending three days at the Hilton at the Landing. It is connected to the convention center where the bank meetings will be held. It is also directly across from the Branson Landing.
After getting settled in our room, we headed to Waxy O Shea's Irish Pub to meet up with "Me's" colleagues and catch up with them. After a nice time we all headed off for dinner. We decided to take a short walk to the White River Fish House. This place was well worth the visit. The atmosphere was relaxed, the decor was VERY fish house and the food was good!
After dinner we all walked back to the Hilton through the Landing listening to the sounds of the frogs singing!
The next morning the bank meetings began so I was on my own. I walked along the Landing exploring the MANY things to do and see. The shopping was amazing! The day I spent here was both fun and relaxing!
