I've noticed a lot of fast-food joints sharing recipes lately for how to recreate some of their best-loved menu items in the comfort of your own kitchen. One that caught my eye in particular was the recently published Greggs Sausage & Bean Melt recipe...
So I decided to supersize it! And in so doing, created a humongous, crispy, gooey 12,000 calorie monstrosity that likes of which most mere mortals would cower before! Question is, can it be finished?
RECIPE:
1500g Puff Pastry Sheets
600g Grated Cheese
4 x 400g Heinz Sausage & Bean Mix
2 x 200g Canned Hot Dog Sausages
Wash with egg mix and bake for 50 minutes at 180c...If you're mad enough!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.
