A song on "Abana b'i Nyange" (Children of Nyange), young Rwandan heroes. On March 18, 1997, in the Western Province of Rwanda, Nyange Secondary School was attacked. In the night of darkness and blood, young students of that school made a historical choice: they preferred to sacrifice their lives insted of being divided.
The following song "Ba intwari mwana w'u Rwanda" (Be a hero, young Rwandan) by Urban Boys was created in 2008 to pay tribute to these young Rwandan heroes. It is an original music inspired by the film "One Night at Nyange" (2008) directed and produced by Jean-Claude Uwiringiyimana. The images accompanying this song are extracted from the film "One Night at Nyange".
