State Police say white out weather conditions contributed to a crash involving three tractor trailers and four cars on the interstate in Aroostook County Thursday.
The accident happened in New Limerick near Mile Marker 298.
Responders say a car slid off the southbound side of the interstate causing two tractor trailers to crash.
Two cars then crashed into the back of the tractor trailers.
A third tractor trailer was able to navigate through the most of the original crash scene but ended up crashing into 2 other passenger vehicles.
One person was taken to Houlton Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Nobody else was hurt.
The southbound lanes of I-95 were shut down for about 90 minutes while crews cleared the scene.
