In this meditation you are guided through smoking a cigarette mindfully. From exploring how a cigarette feels when being touched mindfully, to paying mindful attention to how smoke settles into our lungs, to how it tastes in our mouth, to smelling the stomp of the turned out cigarette.
If we really bring mindful awareness to the process of smoking, most of smokers will feel both a level of disgust and a realisation of the physical harm we are causing ourselves. This realisation can help us quit the habit of smoking.
