Track 4 from their tenth album “Drama” released in 1980 copyright Atlantic Records. It was recorded at The Town House and Sarm East Studios in London. After a long and successful tour to promote their last album “Tormato” the band took a break for several months before meeting in Paris with producer Roy Thomas Baker to record a new album. Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman had developed a close writing partnership and brought several songs with a more folk-oriented style to the recording sessions. The rest of the band and their new producer thought they should pursue a more aggressive rock sound, causing a conflict over the band’s musical direction. The Paris sessions fell apart and although they made one last attempt to record again in London, Anderson and Wakeman left the band in early 1980. Yes’s manager, Brian Lane, introduced the remaining members to another of his acts named “The Buggles” who had scored a recent worldwide hit with “Video Killed the Radio Star.” Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes brought some songs to the band that they approved of and were eager to develop. Chris Squire noticed that Trevor Horn’s voice was similar to Anderson’s and after selling the idea to Steve Howe and Alan White, Horn and Downes were invited to join the band and a new version of Yes was born. The album received above-average reviews and reached No. 2 in the United Kingdom and No. 18 on the Billboard chart. They toured the U.S. and fans there were willing to give the new lineup a chance to impress but during the second leg of the tour in the U.K., they were met with widespread hostility over the lineup change.
