Listen to our mini-series focusing on coping with trauma. In this episode, we look at how people experience something traumatic at some point in their life. A traumatic event is one where we are in danger, perhaps where there is a threat to life or safety, e.g. through an accident, assault, natural disaster, war, illness or abuse. It can also be an event in which we witness something traumatic happening to others, or learn about it happening to a loved one.
