Time lapse of the moon setting behind the Bavaria Statue on Theresienwiese in Munich.
The photos were taken from a distance of 525m with a 600mm telelens.
The orange color of the moon is caused by the sun setting in the opposite direction.
The moon on April 8th 2020 was called a "supermoon" or "pink moon" or also "super pink moon"...
A "supermoon" is a moon that looks slightly larger and brighter than usual because of the moon's closer distance caused by it's elliptical orbit around earth.
The moon on April 8th 2020 was about 7% larger and 15% brighter than the average full moon.
A "pink moon" is not a scientific word (the moon is NOT pink!).
That name actually comes from a pink wildflower that blooms in the early spring (April...) in North America
