Fifty years after the Six-Day War, Israeli scholars and experts in a wide range of fields gathered at a symposium organized by the UCLA Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies to discuss the legacy of the conflict.
In this clip, Gilead Sher – Former Chief of Staff and Policy Coordinator to former Israeli Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Ehud Barak and current Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies and head of the Institute's Center for Applied Negotiations – discusses how he believes a two-state solution is critical to ensure the future of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.
