**I had to increase the volume of the video a bit because microphones generally don't do a great job of picking up low frequency tones like thunder. Even with the increased volume, the thunder may not seem that loud from this recording.**
Without exaggeration this is literally the loudest thunderclap I've ever heard in my life. What's weird about this is that there wasn't really a thunderstorm going on, and there wasn't a ton of rain at all. I heard some quieter thunderclaps in the distance a few minutes prior, but I was not expecting anything like this. This thunderclap happened around 12:30 AM today. Here is some background as to what was happening at the time: As I was finishing up a stream on Liyte (around 12:10 AM), I heard some small thunderclaps from the distance, so I knew there was a small thunderstorm. When I finished the stream, I went to bed and turned off the lights at around 12:20 AM. I wasn't extremely tired, and I knew I wouldn't fall asleep for at least another 30 minutes, so I decided to watch YouTube on my phone. About 10 minutes into that (12:30 AM), I saw a very bright flash of lightning outside. For some reason I like to record loud thunderclaps, so I closed out of YouTube to go on the camera app, and I started recording, hoping for a loud thunderclap. I was not disappointed. As the title suggests, this was the loudest thunderclap I ever heard. I've heard some pretty loud ones before, but this beats all of them. I made a loud thunder video on LightningRandomContent last year, but this thunder was so much louder. I'm not kidding; I felt the bass from that thunder in my chest like an expensive stereo system. It also shook the floor and some items on my shelf; that's what the rattling is in the video. I'm really glad I caught this on video. Also, the video looks like a black screen because all the lights were off in my room. After the thunderclap, my dad came into the room to ask if I was ok; that's how bad this was. This undoubtedly woke up the whole neighborhood. I was so shaken from this thunder that I was thinking about it until I fell asleep at around 1:00 AM. I also think that my heartrate was higher than usual after that thunder; it wasn't pounding, but I could definitely feel it beating faster than usual.
