Every year around the middle to the end of the Summer Medicare agents and brokers are completing their certifications.

The other piece to this video I talk about how someone is on a Medicare Supplement F plan. Most Medicare clients don't know that the Medicare Supplement G plan is the same medical coverage as the "F" plan, just have to pay your deductible. So when you are saving someone over $60 a month switching them to from an "F" plan to a "G" plan, it makes total sense. Currently the deductible is $198 for the year in 2020. So when you can save someone around $700 a year and they just have to pay a deductible of $198, it makes sense.

On top of that, sometimes the Medicare client will forget or not understand what they had signed up for years ago. That's why it's important to at least have a Medicare Agent or Medicare broker to work with to make sure you are not overpaying on things like a Medicare supplement or Medicare prescription drug plan.

I just want people to understand what is available to them and that it costs nothing to work with a broker. You will pay the same for a Medicare Supplement whether you do all the research yourself and sign up over the phone, or whether you meet with a Medicare broker in person.
