Want to use your preferred genealogy website to view the 1950 US census images? In this video I show you how to use Ancestry, FamilySearch, and MyHeritage instead of the National Archives website to find people in the 1950 US census. Keep in mind that as of today, April 5, 2022, (and probably for awhile) you will not be able to search these websites; you'll only be able to navigate to the targeted enumeration district and browse the images.
If you're like me, you probably have a preferred genealogy site that you like to use, and I've noticed that getting to the 1950 US census collection on these other sites is not as intiutive as we'd like. So I put together this video to show you how to get there, how to navigate to the correct enumeration district, and how to save the images. I also share some tips and workarounds to make things easier.
