Patients supply the data that powers electronic health record systems––a technology that, in principle, was designed to improve their health. Yet patients remain largely overlooked as EHR end-users. That's changing. More patients can now access their health records than ever before. But there is still a long way to go before managing one's health history is as easy to manage as a banking account. This panel will examine progress as well as obstacles that remain.
Panelists include:
* Bill Hagan, UnitedHealthcare Clinical Services
* Harlan Krumholz, Yale School of Medicine
* Jennifer Schneider, Livongo
* Vanila Singh, Stanford Medicine
Moderator: Lloyd Minor, MD, dean of the Stanford University School of Medicine
