Udanka desperately wanted to buy Veervara's amazing horse but failed many times. So, he tricked Veervara into needing money urgently. Taking advantage, Udanka offered gold coins for the horse, and Veervara agreed. But there was a catch: Udanka had to endure 10 lashes before getting the horse. Even though he didn't like it, Udanka agreed. Veervara gave him nine lashes but cleverly escaped before the tenth, saying he'd do it whenever he wanted. Udanka's trick failed again.
