Hello friends,
Welcome to our YouTube channel Electronics for You. This channel is all about Electronics Engineering and its allied branches. We even upload some videos which are basically well known Engineering terms but people don't know much in details about them.

About this video:
In this, video one example of algebraic equation is solved using false postion method.
Working rule...
1. Given a continuous function f(x). Find points a and b such that a less than b and
f(a) * f(b) is negative.
2. Take the interval [a, b] and determine the value of xi.
xi = (𝑎 𝑓(𝑏)−𝑏 𝑓(𝑎))/(𝑓(𝑏)−𝑓 (𝑎))
3. Find f(xi).
If f(xi) = 0 then xi is an exact root, OR
f(xi) is negative then let a = xi OR
f(xi) is positive then let b = xi
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until f(xi) =0 or upto acceptable degree of accuracy.
Note: If you don't have basic knowledge of the subject then please see videos one by one of the playlist.
