HOMEMADE WONTON WRAPPERS RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 egg (or aquafaba equivalent for a vegan option)
1/3 cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp of salt
Recipe summary: Whisk egg with water, thoroughly, until foamy. Combine wet ingredients with combined dry ingredients. Knead with hands once mixture is shaggy. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic. Add water 1 tsp at a time if dough is dry/dense. Dough is dry if it doesn't stick to the surface. Shape into a ball, then cut into 2 balls. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 10 minutes. Cut each ball into 4 more pieces. Keep covered. Roll dough into 10.5 inches wide and long. If using square shape, you should get 9 wrappers per sheet. Dough should be thin enough to see through. Sprinkle cornstarch on finished wrappers to stack them without sticking together. Can be frozen stacked together or separated by parchment paper.
