Chicken Tangadi Masala tastes better with Roti/Chapati. This spicy chicken curry can be served along with white rice as well.
Ingredients For Chicken Marination:
1.Chicken - 500 gms
2.Salt to taste
3.Red Chilli Powder - 3 tsp
4.Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
5.Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
6.Oil - 2 tbsp
7.Lemon - 1/2
Ingredients For Chicken Tangdi Masala:
1.Butter - 1 tbsp
2.Oil - 3 tbsp
3.Onion - 3 chopped
4.Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
5.Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
6.Jeera/Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
7.Tomato -2
8.Coriander Leaves
9.Curry Leaves
10.Water - 1/4th glass
Chicken Tangdi Marination:
1.Take a mixing bowl and add chicken,salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,ginger garlic paste,lemon juice & oil.
2.Mix well to apply masala to the chicken.
3.Set aside to marinate the chicken for 30 mins.
Chicken Tangdi Masala Making:
1.Heat the oil in a deep pan & add butter to it.
2.Add chopped onions and fry evenly till light golden color.
3.Add marinated chicken to the onions,saute well & open fry for 2 mins.
4.Flip all the pieces,close the lid and cook for 5 to 6 mins over low flame
5.Now add coriander powder,garam masala powder,jeera powder.Stir well & saute for2 to 3 mins
6.Add tomato puree,water and saute for 2 mins.Cook for 8 to 10 mins or oil comes on the top.
7,Add curry leaves, coriander leaves ,mix well & colse cook for 1 min and turn off the flame.
8.Mix well & transfer to a serving bowl.
9.Serve hot with rice or roti.
