This virtual Yellowstone tour is another in my series which covers all Yellowstone's roads on a point to point basis. You can check out the others in my YouTube channel at @yellowstonetours.
For those of you who don't know Yellowstone National Park, the road from Yellowstone's north entrance at Gardiner, Montana, to Mammoth Hot Springs, inside the park, was destroyed by a once in 500 year flood event, in June 2022. The National Park Service, along with various federal and state entities had to work out a way to get a new road open as quickly as possible.
There was an old stagecoach road from Mammoth past Gardiner, which was a dirt road, and the quickest way to open up Yellowstone's north entrance again was to pave this road, which is what they did, and in an amazingly short time, the new road opened. This is a video of the new road.
