During the day of Class 1-A’s unexpected disguise training, we saw Deku switching costumes with Bakugo and actually getting his headpiece snatched away from a bird, and at this time Deku was actually attacked by a boy, who screamed out YOU’RE BAKUGO RIGHT?! Before hitting Deku with a small series of explosions, using his quirk. Deku saves the young boy from a falling steel beam and the two have a conversation, where Deku finds out that this young boy who thinks that he’s Bakugo, saw Bakugo during the Sports Festival and was inspired to be a hero just like him, so he spends all of his time at an elite gym for training future heroes and has all the confidence in the world that he’ll be #1 someday, but the people at the gym keep telling him his quirk is too similar to Bakugo’s. Deku gives the boy good advice helping him work it out with the people in the Gym and realizes that the boy is a huge All Might fan, and afterwards the boy visits U.A to thank Bakugo for helping him work everything out, but when he meets the REAL Bakugo and sees his scary aura, the boy RUNS off crying probably as confused as can be.
