This week starts with more wet and windy weather heading up New Zealand. However high pressure returns on Wednesday and Thursday to bring some quieter and sunnier days for the second half of the week.
Showers and thunderstorms set to sweep northwards across the South Island during Tuesday.
On the North Island a mix of sunshine and showers in the west, with some drier and warmer conditions for the Bay of Plenty and the East Coast.
