A lactate threshold test is the best way to determine your training zones. The zones will be sport-specific, so in this video, we cover how to find your zones for running.
This is a 30-minute lactate threshold test, with a 10 min fitness walk warm-up.
After the test, you are going to take 95% of your average heart rate for the last 20 minutes of the 30-minute test. This becomes your threshold heart rate.
