Caleb use to have a problem worrying about every person that walked by and sometimes making the decision to bark or lunge at the oncoming stranger. Caleb and I have been working really hard at him learning to ignore people, especially children, when out in public and as you can see in this video, he is getting things pretty under control as long as they do not approach him head on. I am really happy with how well Caleb is doing, especially in such an environment as this with a lot of unknowns.
Remember, if your dog is reactive to strangers, do NOT keep them hidden away. Instead, get them out to learn they can survive each situation under your guidance. As always, if necessary, hire a professional to help you through the training.
