"Visible Learning: The Sequel"

Since VL was published in 2009, there have been 900 more meta-analyses published, so what’s new. There has also been numerous criticisms of meta-analysis and VL, so which stick and which do not? As well, our team has developed a model for implementing VL in (now over 10,000) schools and how has that helped the underlying model. And what about the nitty gritty of classrooms interactions.
Bio:
John Hattie is Emeritus Laureate Professor at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne, Chair of the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leaders, and director of the Hattie Family Foundation. His Visible Learning research is based on ¼ million students and he continues to update this research. He has published and presented over 1000 papers, and supervised 200 theses students, and 64 books – including 28 on Visible Learning.
