My first from an animation series, this is a non-fictional version. I thought it would be fun to remember what real wheels and vehicles were during those years. I use plural because I had already made a 1985 video for cars. Fearing I would run out of pics focusing on just one year, I decided to remember the whole run:
1. Some sites say ’85 was the release of the toy, others indicate the year before.
2. With December 16, 1985 being the original last episode date, the shelved movie for animation, if it had taken place, would have obviously at least entered the next year.
Therefore, I thought it would be fun to honor the gamut, so there are pictures from ’84 through ’86 featured. Please note that search engines can be inaccurate and images can be mistagged with the wrong year. Images used were in the order of the search results. I don’t like to discriminate; I prefer this “mixed bag” approach.
Doing this was fun and made me with the toy series continued. Imagine how many more Monster Minds and Lightning League vehicles could have been imagined with just the ones featured here!
